Summer born child. Having a child who is the youngest in the school year is always a worry. These parents decided to do Cogmed to boost focus and attention skills.
Details
Doing Cogmed was a challenge but the rewards made the process much easier. Parents could see their child was doing difficult work, remembering sequences of almost seven when at the start he could only remember a sequence of three. After the training, resistance to doing more complex maths problems was less stressful. At Christmas time he remembered a long poem with ease.
“We are not entirely certain what the transfer has been after doing Cogmed. But my son seems to be more willing and offering less resistance to academic work.”
