This student came to do Cogmed because an educational psychologist revealed he had a very weak working memory score. He also had a history of poor coordination and needed constant reminders for everyday tasks.

Mum complained her son had lost the second school jumper this year. He worked hard but he was scatty at times. She was surprised her son had a working memory deficit because he was an avid reader. Her son’s weak area was being more organised and more focused when doing maths.
“We have noticed he needs less prompts to do his maths homework. He seems more mature with his approach and since starting Cogmed the number of trips to the schools lost property has significantly reduced. We are delighted with our more focused son. ”
