Parents needed to keep their child on focus the entire time for all tasks from brushing teeth to doing maths homework.
Details
Parent complained they would be constantly distracted from their own work so they could help keep their on track. Their child would get upset and there would be shouting at homework time. It was always stressful after school. Every day was the same.
“My daughter came home, did her maths homework (I did nudge her to reminder her but not like before) and then followed on with piano. Normally, I would have to go into the room when she does piano, because she used to mess about, but not now. She ended with 10 minutes on the static bike. This would have been carrot before but now it is no different to other after school academic work.”
